The former Tew mansion dominates the corner of North Main and Fifth Streets. Regarded as one of Jamestown’s landmark buildings. The mansion with its mansard roof & high distinctive dormer windows showcases the era’s architectural grandeur. The front porch welcomes you into a grand foyer with its high ceilings, crown moldings, solid wood doors, exquisite staircase with original stain glass windows. The original, unique features continue throughout with multiple fireplaces, each having a distinctive mantel, hardwood floors, woodwork, expansive windows. The first and second floors each have, two half bathrooms, six rooms, kitchen area. Third floor has five rooms, one was part of a ballroom. The full basement has one full bath and multiple rooms. Accessibility lift and parking lot for approximately nine cars. Off street metered parking is also available.
